Marble is a natural stone and all coasters look different. Liquid can affect the stone and stains can occur if you do not wipe away immediately. The edge can be polished - But be sure to protect the marble.Care instructions:
Hilke Collection's candlesticks and interior details have a fantastic shine and if you want to keep the high-gloss surface that the product has, it must be plastered regularly. We recommend the plaster Glanol which you can find on our website. To avoid fingerprints that create stains, we recommend that the products are moved in homes with a polishing cloth or a cotton glove. Follow our plastering guide below for a simple treatment of your Hilke Collection products for a shiny result.

- Never use lemon-based detergents or acidic agents as the acid can corrode and stain the stone.
- Wine, vinegar, vinegar and even carbonic acid can damage the surface. If you spill; wipe off right away.
- In case of more severe stains, you can dip a towel in lukewarm soapy water and gently rub.
- Grease or oil stains should be removed as quickly as possible to prevent the grease from penetrating into the stone. Wipe the stain with paper and wash with solvents – such as white spirit, thinner or acetone – then soak up with paper.
